Comic update

So here's the final page in the beginning of the Voyage Moyen introduction-which doesn't include the fact that really-I should've thought twice about doing a webcomic in full color. Especially when you look at some of the earlier pages and the emphasis on lens flares....uhh, I shudder. I hope at some point I can go back and redo some of those pages. And some of the lettering and such. Ah, well. This page is kind of dialogue heavy too. If you want to read the comic-click on the Girlamatic link on the right. I'm a-going to a-bed.

I got myself a Google account just so I could post here! Because you're that cool.
So, one thing I'm trying to figure out-- did Nate die before the start of the comic, or sometime near the beginning? It could have been when he crashed the car into the tree, but that didn't look fatal enough...
Hi Tara!
I'm definitely not cool, but thanks!
I was just thinking to myself-man, I should've done a live journal because everyone else is there! But this worked best linking into my actual website... And thanks for opening an account just for me! I'm so honored! I tried to have Death explain it-but yes, Nate died before the beginning. The whole beginning was to feel sort of dreamlike and unreal-which I'm sure was confusing. I tried keeping things sort of real-and then just piled it on afterwards-so at first it could've been real, then as it goes on-it just gets completely unreal-like with the trees, and bird creature, and such. I'm hoping as it goes on it gets less awkward. More will be explained...soon! :P
Ah...I should probably have read this at least before I commented on the prelude. Then again, I was on my second read of the whole thing, so I still think my remarks are worthwhile. I guess I may just as well lose some some of my complete anonymity, seeing as I'm definitely going to end up among the most outspoken readers of VM. Keep up the good work!
...also, I've already noted that Mr. D reminds me of Captain Jack, but I really can't wait to see him have a "Why's the rum gone?" moment. I mean, so far Mr. D (hey, he doesn't like to be called "Death", I can respect that) has been pretty omniscient--albeit with a good explanation. I'm just waiting for him to be genuinely surprised...but I ramble. A lot. So, no more for now.
